Manchester United and Chelsea will need to pay around £150,000 per week to sign Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap this summer, as per Evening Standard.
The Englishman joined the Tractor Boys from Manchester City last summer and he has proved a good signing with 12 goals in the Premier League.
Delap can leave Ipswich for just £30 million after their relegation, but the 22-year-old is set to demand significant wages from interested clubs.
Both United and Chelsea have expressed an interest in his services, but it will take around £150,000 per week to persuade him to join either club.
Both teams have looked to cut down on their wage bill. The Blues in particular have been reluctant to pay more than £100,000 per week lately.
United are likewise looking to reduce their weekly salaries and it remains to be seen whether one of them makes an exception to land Delap.
There is also foreign transfer interest in the young striker. The likes of Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are apparently monitoring him.
