This Semi-private Jet Company Has a New Route to Napa Valley—and Fares Start at $189

  • JSX, a semi-private air carrier, recently launched a new service between the Los Angeles area and Napa, California.
  • Round-trip tickets start at just $378.
  • The service is known for luxury on board its planes, with premium snacks, beverages, and spacious seating.

Jetting away for the ultimate wine getaway just got easier.

JSX, an air carrier that offers public charter jet service, recently announced new routes connecting Southern California with Napa Valley starting July 3.

The new routes will operate from Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) and Orange County’s John Wayne Airport (SNA), both outside of Los Angeles, to Napa County Airport (APC) in Napa, California. Once in Northern California, travelers can explore the famed wine country, including Sonoma, Vineburg, and Union.

Both routes will operate four days a week, and round-trip fares start at $378. Tickets are now available for purchase on the JSX website.

Napa Valley is home to acclaimed vineyards and luxury hotels. The region is also popular with outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy cycling and hiking.

“Napa is one of the world’s most celebrated wine regions and deserves an equally refined travel experience to match,” JSX CEO Alex Wilcox said in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure. “Our flights to Napa will give customers the opportunity to arrive closer, faster, and in-style—all at an attainable price.”

The service was recently recognized as the top domestic airline in T+L’s 2024 World’s Best Awards. Passengers are treated to a luxury experience including a private hangar, speedy boarding, free Starlink Wi-Fi, and premium snacks and beverages on board.

The JSX route map spans multiple cities, with the Los Angeles area (LAX, BUR, SNA), Dallas (DAL), and New York’s Westchester County (HPN) being focus cities. The air carrier says that they operate service to communities that don’t traditionally have major airlines.

Earlier this year, JSX announced a new route between Orange County, California, and Salt Lake City. Flights will run once a day from June 19 on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, and one-way fares start at $259. “Summertime activities abound in both places and JSX’s signature service and convenience will make travel between the two as seamless as possible,” Wilcox said in a statement at the time.
