Chelsea have been in contact with the representative of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, according to BBC Sport.
The Blues are planning for a busy summer transfer window and they are determined to bolster their attacking department in particular.
The club are keen on landing a left-sided winger and Garnacho has emerged as a top target to replace Jadon Sancho in the summer.
Sancho was signed on loan from United last summer with an obligation to buy for £25m. The Blues are ready to cancel the agreement by paying a penalty fee of around £5m.
Garnacho is being seen as a potential replacement in the squad. The attacker could be interested in pursuing a new challenge elsewhere.
United are strong favourites to land Wolves star Matheus Cunha and he could partner Bruno Fernandes in attacking midfield next term.
With the competition from Amad and Joshua Zirkzee, Garnacho may have to settle for a deputy role under head coach Ruben Amorim.
On the other hand, he could be assured a regular starting role at Chelsea. United are prepared to offload Garnacho for £65m this summer.
