Images are circulating online appearing to show next season’s adidas home strip
Celtic are still chasing a Treble but next season’s home kit has reportedly been leaked online.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have already wrapped up the League Cup and Premiership title and can complete a clean sweep in next month’s Scottish Cup Final.
Yet while there is still plenty to play for this term, it appears the four-in-a-row champions are on the verge of launching their 2025/26 strips after a new tartan-inspired jersey emerged on social media.
The ever-reliable FootyHeadlines previously reported that the famous green and white hoops would feature a tartan pattern for the first time in the club’s history.
And images doing the rounds on the internet appear to match those suggestions.
As is the case every year, fans were split as they debated the new look on X.
One raved: “I love it.”
Another pointed out: “Hmm, if they go the whole way round then yeah I like it. No broken hoops.”
While this fan beamed: “That’s a yes from me looks banging.”
But a fourth punter said: “Why can’t we just have a normal kit?”
And a fifth added: “Lazy design. Scottish club so do some tartan.”
Record Sport reported on Wednesday that the Parkhead side have yet to make an official announcement over their kit suppliers as their current contract with adidas expires this summer.
However, it’s expected Celts will announce in the coming weeks that they have agreed a new record-breaking deal with the German sportswear giants that could even see them promoted to adidas Elite status alongside powerhouses Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Liverpool.
