Interim head coach Liam Fox will leave Hearts at the end of the season, as the club move closer to appointing Derek McInnes as manager.
Fox has taken charge of Hearts twice this season, first after Steven Naismith was sacked in October and then when his replacement Neil Critchley was dismissed last month.
His last game with the club will be Sunday’s final league match away to Kilmarnock, having overseen victories against St Johnstone, Motherwell and Ross County since the split.
Hearts chief executive Andrew McKinley says the decision was made “to start completely afresh” when the new management team come in.
McKinley added he hopes the club can announce their new manager “very soon” having agreed terms with Kilmarnock for McInnes to move to Tynecastle.
Fox was initially appointed as B-team coach in June 2023 but became part of the first-team coaching staff when Critchley was appointed in October.
He previously coached at Aberdeen and had a spell as manager of Dundee United.
