Booking Holdings is seeing stable travel demand through April in 2025 even though the company finds that fewer Canadians and Europeans are traveling to the U.S.
That’s because Europeans are choosing to travel instead to destinations such as Canada, Asia and within Europe, and they are spending about the same on their trips, Booking Holdings Chief Financial Officer Ewout Steenbergen told analysts during the company’s first quarter earnings call Tuesday.
Likewise, he said, more Canadians are skipping the U.S. in favor of Mexico.
“To us, we are agnostic to where they are traveling,” Steenbergen said.
