Hyatt Hotels Corporation is set to expand its luxury portfolio in Argentina with the introduction of a new hotel, Casa Duhau. The hotel, which will be part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, is expected to begin construction by the end of 2025.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in association with the Scalesciani family, owners of Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, and the David family, Mendoza entrepreneurs, announced the upcoming development of Casa Duhau. This new luxury hotel will be located in Mendoza, featuring 52 villas and suites. Notably, it will be the only hotel in Argentina under the Unbound Collection by Hyatt.
Casa Duhau is part of a larger development project, Reserva Alto Agrelo, which spans nearly 1,000 acres and features a premium winery and 116 residential lots for sale. The hotel construction is slated to begin by the end of 2025, with an expected opening date in late 2027.
The hotel’s location in Alto Agrelo, Mendoza, places it in one of the world’s most prominent wine regions. Reserva Alto Agrelo will also be home to Bodega Agrelia, a boutique winery with expertise from renowned winemakers Michel Rolland and Marcelo Pelleriti. Additionally, the development will feature Casa David—Wine & Horses, an equestrian club with advanced horse facilities.
The hotel will offer 40 villas and 12 suites, ensuring privacy and extensive views of the Andes Mountains. Facilities will include two signature restaurants, a swimming pool, a fitness center, a state-of-the-art spa, modern meeting rooms, and more. Casa Duhau’s gardens, terraces, and event hall will provide a scenic backdrop for a variety of events.
The Reserva Alto Agrelo residential lots, a real estate development on nearly 190 acres of land, with plans for 116 future residential units, will also be part of the master development project.
The architectural design of Casa Duhau will be spearheaded by BMA ARQS, while the interior design will be overseen by MartÃn Zanotti Studio, and the landscape design by Fernando González. Terrandes SAS and BDA Realty will manage the full development of Reserva Alto Agrelo.
Adding Casa Duhau to Hyatt’s Luxury Portfolio will add to the company’s presence in Argentina, joining other properties like Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, and Park Hyatt Mendoza.
