With less than three weeks to go, ATX TV Festival is adding more names to their lineup.
NBCUniversal and Universal Studio Group will present several panels and events at the 2025 festival, set for May 29-June 1.
First, they’ll present “The Four Seasons” with co-creator and co-showrunner Lang Fisher and actor Kerry Kinney Silver discussing the Netflix hit comedy.
USG’s annual “Funny AF” panel will return with top comedians and showrunners. Confirmed panelists include Fisher and Kenney-Silver, along with “The Office” and “The Paper” actor Oscar Nuñez and “St. Denis Medical” star Mekki Leeper.

Kevin Williamson, the creator/showrunner behind “Dawson’s Creek,” “The Vampire Diaries,” “The Following” and Netflix’s upcoming drama “The Waterfront,” will sit down for a career retrospective , discussing the legacy of his career with friends from past projects. Separately, he’ll take part in a fireside chat with “We Were Liars” co-showrunner Julie Plec and Universal TV svp of drama development Kate Hoenigsberg, as both showrunners dive into their upcoming series.
NBCUniversal will also present TV Trivia Night for badgeholders which includes food, drink and prizes on Thursday night.
Additional panels announced today are below:
– Collaborative Casting, presented by CSA: Casting executives Steven O’Neill (EVP of casting and talent development at UCP) will be joined by casting directors Debby Romano (“Shrinking”) and Felicia Fasano (“Better Things”) as part of the festival’s long-running partnership with Casting Society.
– Fox’s “Clean Slate” will present a “For Yo’ Momma’s Consideration” panel featuring cocreator, star and executive producer George Wallace; cocreator, coshowrunner and executive producer Dan Ewen; coshowrunner and executive producer Simran Baidwan; and non-writing executive producer Brent Miller; the team will discuss the multigenerational LGBTQIA+ narratives and their hopes for the future of the show.
-“The Righteous Gemstones” star Edi Patterson and “Painkiller” actor John Ales will join casting directors Sherry Thomas (“The Righteous Gemstones”), Felicia Fasano (“Better Things”), and Bonnie Zane (“Suits LA”) for the “Casting a Spotlight: Unsung Actors,” highlighting the often unsung actors on television.
