Here is the worst player at each Premier League club this season, according to the algorithm… not us, we swear!
We’re only including players who made at least 19 league appearances and a minimum of three starts during the 2024/25 season, based on average match ratings from WhoScored.
Every Premier League club’s worst player this season
Arsenal: Myles Lewis-Skelly (6.44)
Lewis-Skelly has been a revelation in this Arsenal team, but two red cards in the Premier League this season have dragged down his average match rating, which doesn’t fairly reflect his impact.
Aston Villa: Pau Torres (6.41)
Unai Emery wanted Torres as one of his first major signing and he has been fairly decent since joining in 2023. The Spaniard’s form has declined a bit this season though.
Bournemouth: David Brooks (6.36)
Brooks has two goals and zero assists in 808 minutes of Premier League football this term.
Brentford: Fabio Carvalho (6.26)
Former Liverpool youngster Carvalho has been restricted to mainly substitute appearances but has rarely impressed when on the pitch. He’s not appeared since Getting In On The Act against Leicester in February.
Brighton: Simon Adingra (6.36)
Adingra has two goals and one assist in 24 Premier League appearances this season.

Chelsea: Christopher Nkunku (6.41)
Nkunku is not the player he was at RB Leipzig. We have no idea where that guy has gone.
Crystal Palace: Justin Devenny (6.17)
Devenny has only started four times in the Premier League this term but has come off the bench on 16 occasions.
Everton: Jack Harrison (6.42)
Harrison has one Premier League goal in 30 appearances this season.
Fulham: Issa Diop (6.32)
Diop has started 15 times this season despite the summer signing of Joachim Anderson. He has been decent enough, to be fair to him.
Ipswich: George Hirst (6.23)
With two goals and an assist in 22 top-flight encounters, Hirst is Ipswich’s representatives.
Wes Burns and Conor Chaplin (both 6.22) have inferior ratings and are both one appearance away from taking his place, while Jack Taylor has been worse than all three (6.16) across 28 appearances, though only two of them have come as a starter.
Leicester: Bobby De Cordova-Reid (6.11)
What a poor decision it was to join Leicester last summer. Not that he has looked like a big fish in a small pond.
Liverpool: Darwin Nunez (6.50)
The champions have to have someone and we are not surprised it is Darwin. The Uruguayan has five goals and two assists in eight starts and 18 substitute appearances.
Man City: Manuel Akanji (6.40)
It was Kyle Walker with his 6.27 before he escaped to Italy. It is now Akanji, who recently returned from a lengthy injury.
Man Utd: Rasmus Hojlund (6.28)
Four goals in 38 matches for a £70m striker is a horrific return. He now has the same number of goal involvements as Man City goalkeeper Ederson in the 2024/25 Premier League after scoring a late equaliser against Bournemouth.

Newcastle: Joe Willock (6.26)
Willock has two assists in 944 minutes of Premier League football this campaign. The ex-Arsenal youngster has become a squad player with none of Joelinton, Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali proving to be droppable.
Nottingham Forest: Taiwo Awoniyi (6.09)
Life comes at you fast. Awoniyi’s goals kept Forest in the top flight in 2022/23 and now he can’t get a sniff because of Chris Wood and his 19 league goals while the club chase an unlikely Champions League berth.
Southampton: Cameron Archer (6.13)
Southampton are historically bad that singling out one player for criticism would be wrong – they have all been shocking, besides a regretful Aaron Ramsdale, who is not feeling great about his life decisions right now.
Tottenham Hotspur: Archie Gray (6.16)
All things considered, he has done pretty well in a struggling Spurs side.
West Ham: Carlos Soler (6.29)
Soler joined the Hammers on loan with high expectations considering he was coming from Paris Saint-Germain. He has not been very good but then again, neither have any of his West Ham teammates.
Wolves: Tommy Doyle (6.15)
With one goal involvement in 24/25, Wolves’ man is Doyle.
