Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has sent a message to Rasmus Hojlund following the 1-1 Premier League draw against Bournemouth on the road.
The Red Devils shared the spoils against 10-man Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium earlier today. Hojlund scored the crucial equaliser for the club in stoppage time.
It was only his second goal in 29 appearances and speaking after the game, Amorim said that it is always important for strikers to score and it is a good boost for the Dane.
He said: “It is always important for strikers to score. But when we look at the game as a striker it is not just the goals. It is a good boost but the next game is a new history and we have to go again.”
United have jumped to 14th in the league standings after the stalemate at Bournemouth. They will now turn their focus to the first leg of the Europa League semi-final against Athletic Bilbao away.
