Sometimes you’re really on top of a moment, casting-wise. That seems to be the fortuitous case with “Sirens,” a new Netflix mini-series that stars Oscar nominee Julianne Moore, plus too very hot, on-the-rise actresses: Meghann Fahy from “The White Lotus” and Milly Alcock, who stars in the “Game of Thrones” spin-off “House Of The Dragon” and has already been cast as DC Studios’ Supergirl for their ‘World Of Tomorrow’ film arriving summer 2026.
The series centers on two sisters (Fahy and Alcock), one of whom is concerned about her sister’s unhealthy relationship with her new boss (Moore).

Five episodes in length, the female-driven, dark comedy limited series comes from Emmy-nominated showrunner/writer/executive producer Molly Smith Metzler, and “Sirens ”is the latest project in her creative partnership with Netflix. Based on her play “Elemeno Pea,” which she wrote at The Juilliard School, Metzler’s first project with Netflix was 2021’s acclaimed limited series “Maid” starring Margaret Qualley.
Here’s the official synopsis:
Devon thinks her sister Simone has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell. Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention, but she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be. Told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish island estate, Sirens is an incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power, and class.
The series also stars Kevin Bacon (Peter Kell), Glenn Howerton (Ethan Corbin III), Bill Camp (Bruce DeWitt), and Felix Solis (Jose).

Nicole Kassell (“The Woodsman”) directed the first two episodes, and executive producers on the series include Dani Gorin, Tom Ackerley, and Margot Robbie for LuckyChap and Colin McKenna.
