A new Mountainhead trailer is out, previewing the upcoming HBO film about a group of billionaires trying to fix the world after one of them seemingly throws it into chaos.
What happens in the Mountainhead trailer?
The latest trailer for the film sees the four billionaires (played by Steve Carell, Ramy Youssef, Jason Schwartzman, and Cory Michael Smith) getting together for a vacation.
The group play games, jokingly write their net worth on their chests, and more, before discovering one of the billionaire’s AI inventions has thrust the world into chaos. The group then decide that the four of them are capable enough to potentially try and save the world, and discuss buying countries and other options as a way out of the mess.
Mountainhead is scheduled to make its debut on Saturday, May 31 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.

The cast is led by Steve Carell (The Office) as Randall, Ramy Youssef (Ramy, Poor Things) as Jeff, Jason Schwartzman (Bored to Death) as Hugo Van Yalk, and Cory Michael Smith (Saturday Night, May December) as Venis. Additional supporting cast includes Hadley Robinson as Hester, Andy Daly as Casper, Ali Kinkade as Berry, Daniel Oreskes as Dr. Phipps, David Thompson as Leo, Amie MacKenzie as Janine, and Ava Kostia as Paula.
The HBO original movie is written and directed by Jesse Armstrong. During Succession’s four-season run, the acclaimed scribe had won seven Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series. In addition, he is also executive producing alongside Frank Rich, Lucy Prebble, Jon Brown, Tony Roche, Will Tracy, Mark Mylod, and Jill Footlick.
