Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins are heading to New Vegas in the Fallout Season 2 teaser trailer. The new footage was shown during Amazon’s Upfront presentation at the Beacon Theater in New York City.

What happens in the Fallout Season 2 teaser trailer?
The teaser opens with a sign, “Las Vegas 50 Miles.” The camera then pans to The Ghoul (Goggins) and Lucy MacLean (Purnell) standing beside each other in the desert. The duo continues their journey to New Vegas, which can be seen in the distance.
New Vegas is one of the settings in Season 2. At the end of Season 1, Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan) is seen walking toward New Vegas, the iconic location of the video game franchise and home to the Lucky 38 Resort and Casino.
The teaser also reveals a December 2025 release date window for Fallout Season 2. The story will not end there, as Amazon has renewed Fallout for a third season.
“Jonah, Lisa, Geneva, and Graham have done an exceptional job bringing this beloved video game franchise to vivid life on Prime Video,” said Vernon Sanders, global head of television for Amazon MGM Studios, at the upfront presentation (via Variety). “Together with our amazing partners at Bethesda Games and Bethesda Softworks, we are delighted to announce a third season of Fallout, well ahead of the much-anticipated debut of Season 2.”
Additional Season 2 cast members include Aaron Moten as Knight Maximus, Sarita Choudhury as Moldaver, Leslie Uggams as Overseer Betty, and Macaulay Culkin in an undisclosed role.
Based on the video game series from Bethesda Game Studios, Fallout is executive produced by Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and Graham Wagner.
