A recent report by Vogue confirms that Leonardo DiCaprio made his Met Gala debut this year without walking the red carpet. The photo published by the magazine shows the actor inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. He cheekily hides his face from the camera with his hand as his partner, Vittoria Ceretti, joins him.
The Italian beauty attended the red carpet without her beau, donning a stunning navy Moncler x EE72 dress to represent the gala’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” DiCaprio looks dapper in the photo too, complementing the theme with a pristinely tailored suit and a bow tie. The night marks the Oscar winner’s first-ever Met Gala. Although he was starkly absent from the “blue” carpet earlier in the evening. The couple were also present on Saturday night at Teyana Taylor’s post-Met Gala cabaret.
DiCaprio and Ceretti first sparked dating rumours back in 2023 when Page Six shared photos of them enjoying iced coffees and ice cream cones in Santa Barbara, California. A month later, another picture of them surfaced online, where they toured with DiCaprio’s mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, at the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana Museum in Milan. Ceretti was also present at DiCaprio’s birthday bash in November 2023. A source spoke exclusively with People, revealing that the couple were “affectionate and kissing throughout the night.”
DiCaprio has yet to officially make any statements regarding their budding relationship. However, Ceretti gave a rare insight into her relationship with the actor during a March 2025 interview with Vogue France.
