Alan Cumming is hinting at a potential Nightcrawler and Reed Richards fight scene in Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday is currently in production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the MCU movie will open in United States theaters in just a little less than a year.

Cumming is reprising his role as Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler in Avengers: Doomsday, while Pedro Pascal will star as The Fantastic Four’s Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. In a new video with BuzzFeed UK, Cumming hinted that the forthcoming Avengers movie may include a scene where he’s “hitting Pedro Pascal against the head.”
“I’m playing Nightcrawler again, now,” Cumming said. “I was just learning stunts yesterday for some fight scene. I just think, ‘I’m 60 years old. Twenty-three years ago, I played that superhero. I was kind of old for a superhero even then. And, now, I’m back, doing it.’ That, to me, is hilarious. I’m sort of learning these fights, and I’m like, ‘What? Who am I fighting with?’ You’re hitting Pedro Pascal against the head, or something. It’s just that I can’t quite believe [it], especially because [playing Nightcrawler initially] was such a long time ago.”
