Josh Hartnett Struggles to Hide a Body in Fight or Flight Clip

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Fight or Flight clip from Vertical‘s upcoming action comedy, featuring Josh Hartnett (Pearl Harbor, Trap) as an exiled agent. The movie is slated to make its debut in theaters on May 9, 2025.

“Exiled American agent Lucas Reyes is given one last chance to redeem himself – the assignment is to track down and identify a mysterious, international high-value asset known only as The Ghost on a flight from Bangkok to San Francisco,” reads the official synopsis. “Complicating matters, the plane is filled with assassins from around the world who are assigned to kill them both. The pair must work together in a fight for their lives. At 37,000 feet, the stakes have never been higher.”

What happens in the Fight or Flight clip?

The video shows Hartnett struggling to hide a body in the plane’s restroom, as concerned flight attendants and sky marshall threatened to force the door open due to the strange noises he has been making inside. The cast also includes Katee Sackhoff (The Mandalorian) as Katherine, Charithra Chandran (Bridgerton, One Piece Season 2) as Isha, Julian Kostov (Shadow and Bone) as Aaron Hunter, Marko Zaror (John Wick: Chapter 4) as Chayenne, and more.

Fight or Flight is directed by James Madigan from a screenplay written by Brooks McLaren and D.J. Cotrona. This marks Madigan’s feature-length directorial debut, after previously directing episodes of Marvel’s Runaways and Medal of Honor. The film is executive produced by Cotrona, McLaren, Melissa Bale, George Bennett, Alastair Burlingham, Danny Chan, Marc Danon, James Di Giacomo, Tara Finegan, Will Flynn, Diarmaid Odhran McGrath, Gary Raskin, Barbara Reardon, Justin Reardon, and Bryan Yaconelli. Producers are Tai Duncan, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Christopher Millburn.
