Peacock’s new TV and movie releases for May 5–11, 2025, include Poker Face Season 2 and Love Hurts.
May 8 sees the release of Poker Face Season 2’s first three episodes on Peacock. The second installment premieres two years after the first one ended. Created by Rian Johnson, Poker Face follows Charlie Cale (Natasha Lyonne), who possesses the unique, albeit extraordinary, ability to discern when someone is lying to her. Moreover, this new season will feature guest appearances from multiple prominent actors like Awkwafina, Alia Shawkat, John Mulaney, Katie Holmes, Margo Martindale, and Melanie Lynskey.
Next, Love Hurts premieres on Peacock on May 9. Starring Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan, the story follows Marvin Gable, a former criminal turned realtor, who gets dragged back into his old life when his former crime partner shows up with a mysterious yet troubling message. Gable ends up facing more trouble when his criminal brother enters the picture.
Also releasing this week are the Night Court Season 3 finale and Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris.
Night Court is a legal comedy following Abby Stone (Melissa Rauch), an optimistic judge who presides over Manhattan’s arraignment court during the night.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, set in 1950s London, follows a cleaning lady who becomes obsessively enamored with a haute couture dress created by Christian Dior.
