Hulu has finally released the official Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 trailer for the upcoming return of the acclaimed psychological thriller starring Oscar winner Nicole Kidman as a she reprises her role as wellness coach Masha. Besides leading the cast, Kidman is also serving as an executive producer. The next installment will be available for streaming starting on May 21.
“Nine new strangers connected in ways they could never imagine are invited by mysterious guru, Masha Dmitrichenko (Kidman), to join a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps,” reads the synopsis. “Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself.”

The video brings viewers to the Austrian Alps, where Masha has once again become a wellness coach to a new set of wealthy people. The trailer teases each participants’ strange connection with each other, as they slowly uncover their respective traumas. Meanwhile, Kidman’s character struggles to deal with her own pain.
Nine Perfect Strangers is created by David E. Kelley and John-Henry Butterworth. Season 2 will introduce new cast members in the form of series regulars Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) as Brian, Dolly de Leon (Triangle of Sadness) as Agnes, Christine Baranski (The Good Fight) as Victoria, Henry Golding Crazy Rick Asians) as Peter, Mark Strong (Cruella) as David, Lena Olin (One Life) as Helena, Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek) as Imogen, Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Jagged Mind) as Wolfie, Aras Aydin (Escape) as Matteo, singer-songwriter King Princess as Tina, and Lucas Englander (Transatlantic) as Martin.
