Will Forte is absolutely ecstatic that Coyote vs. Acme has been rescued, and promises to promote the movie however he can.

What did Will Forte say about Coyote vs. Acme’s rescue?

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter during the Los Angeles premiere of his upcoming show The Four Seasons, Forte said that he was “thrilled” the movie had been rescued by Ketchup Entertainment, who the actor praised. Forte joked that he would do whatever it takes and go wherever was necessary to promote the movie.

“I never thought it would happen so it just came out of nowhere and I’m so thrilled,” Forte said. “Thank you Ketchup Entertainment, I’m so excited for people to see this movie. I’m gonna promote the crap out of it, just tell me what you want me to do and I’ll go, I’ll do whatever — go to the top of Mount Everest, I’m there.”

Forte’s comments are on the opposite end of how the actor felt about the status of the movie earlier this year. In February, when the movie was still considered scrapped by Warner Bros. Discovery, Forte called the decision to never release the movie “f—ing bulls—,” and that the movie deserves better.

“My thoughts were that it’s f—ing bulls—,” Forte said. “It is such a delightful movie. It deserves so much better than it got. I can’t tell you possibly why the decision was made to not release it. But it makes my blood boil.”

In March, it was announced that Warner Bros. Discovery and Ketchup Entertainment — who just recently also released the sci-fi animated comedy The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie — had come to an agreement on an acquisition deal for the movie. The movie has no official release date as of yet.

Coyote vs. Acme is directed by Dave Green from a screenplay written by Sam Burch. The film is led by Will Forte, John Cena, Lana Condor, P.J. Byrne, Tone Bell, and Martha Kelly, with Eric Bauza voicing multiple Looney Tunes characters. It is produced by Chris deFaria and James Gunn.

“The film centers on Wile E. Coyote as he takes legal action against the Acme Corporation for the countless faulty products that have hindered his relentless pursuit of the Road Runner,” reads the official synopsis.
