What happens in the Sirens trailer?

The Sirens trailer sees Fahy’s character visit her younger sister, played by Alcock, shortly after their father is diagnosed with dementia. She finds her sibling staying in a massive mansion that essentially seems to serve as a cult that’s being run by Moore.

“Devon (Fahy) thinks her sister Simone (Alcock) has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell (Moore),” the official synopsis reads. “Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention. But she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be. Told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish beach estate, Sirens is an incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power, and class.”

Josh Segarra, Felix Solis, Trevor Salter, Lauren Weedman, Britne Oldford, and Jenn Lyon also star in Sirens, per Variety, while Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley and Dani Gorin all serve as executive producers for LuckyChap. The show is adapted from a 2011 play written by Metzler titled Elemeno Pea.

Metzler told Tudum about Sirens, “Michaela and Simone are friends. They’re trauma-bonded. They’re codependent. But they also really need something from each other. And what they need from each other shifts throughout the show.”

Sirens will be released on Netflix on May 22, 2025.
