The fan then recounted the depth of Janine’s story explored on the show. They further noted how the series depicted Janine’s heartbreak, resilience, and love for Charlotte. Moreover, they also pointed out how Janine has found herself close to Charlotte, but under the safety of Lawrence’s household. The fan then concluded by opining that the series was setting up Janine and Charlotte’s eventual reunion and escape from Gilead.
“What if the show is setting up them Angela and Janine to be the ones who make it out? Together. Safe. Whole,” the fan added. “What if that’s the happy ending we didn’t even realize we needed?”
