Sinners Takes Easter Weekend, Pride & Prejudice Rerelease Does Well

Easter weekend was for the Sinners at the domestic box office.

Warner Bros. and Ryan Coogler’s Sinners won Easter weekend at the United States box office, as the Michael B. Jordan-starring film brought in an impressive $45.6 million. It beat out A Minecraft Movie, also a Warner Bros. release, which came in second during its third week with $41.3 million.

The Pride & Prejudice rerelease also proved to be a hit, per Deadline, as it managed to crack the top ten with $2.7 million. Two other newcomers — The Wedding Banquet and Sneaks — didn’t quite make the cut, however, as the former grossed $992,900 and the latter $675,000.
